 After a series of negotiations Mark Campbell Motors is extremely proud to announce that we are now official Derby and Nottingham SsangYong dealers.
This quality Korean manufacturer has a history dating back to 1963 when it began by building jeeps for the US military.
Undergoing a number of name changes and moving from speciality vehicle manufacturing, today the company builds engines for Mercedes-Benz and provides a small range of fantastic quality vehicles to the UK market.
The Korando (pictured right) is billed as a powerful, yet efficient car with generous equipment and great refinement. SsangYong Korando Preview Party

 Our man on the track, Martyn Lewins has done it! With a 12 point lead, he took the EMRA Newcomers Championship 2011 at Mallory Park on the 25th September following a series of nail biting races at the ‘bed rock of Midlands motor sport’.
This summer, Martyn, a Breaston local, approached us and explained that he was on target to win the championship following a bout of winning races, yet his chances of successfully taking the title were at risk from lack of funds.
Happy to support a local talent and someone so passionate about their sport, Mark Campbell Motors sponsored Martyn and his Kawasaki ZX10-RR, a bike that has flown our branding throughout Martyn’s recent wins!
Martyn’s 4th and final race for the Newcomers Championship saw him start in 2nd place, shifting places over an exciting race to finally come 2nd place, being 1st point scorer to take the Championship title! Waheeeey!

A man takes his dog to the vet: “My dog is crossed eyed, is there anything you can do for him?”
“Well” replies the Vet, “Let’s take a look at him”.
The Vet picks the dog up and examines his eyes, then checks his teeth.
Finally, he says; “I’m going to have to put him down”.
“What? Because he is cross-eyed?” shrieks the man.
“No, because he’s really heavy” retorts the Vet.
