Dont Forget Your MOT

 Lately we’ve seen a number of hybrid vehicles pass through our forecourt Cars that have interest both sides of the reception desk. Currently we have a Honda Civic and a Toyota Prius in stock and in road tests we have been pleasantly surprised by the 60+ mpg we’ve seen them both quietly produce.
A hybrid is a vehicle that uses two or more distinct power sources. The Honda charges its own battery, powering an electric engine that assists the petrol engine. The Prius runs on it’s electric engine at low speeds and then it’s petrol engine at more efficient, higher speeds, charging the electric engine.
Both vehicles are extremely smooth, very high spec’ and really give that sense of social responsibility!

 Each month we tip our hats to a member of our superb team, all of whom together are responsible for our high level of customer satisfaction.
This month (and please hold on to the had rail), we go upstairs for a chat with Julie Davis in the Accounts dept. Julie has been with the company for 11 years and with Cheryl and Alistair is responsible for keeping our books in tip top order.
When she’s not crunching numbers, Julie shows boxer dogs and has a qualifier for the 2012 Cruffs. Married to Simon, the pair have just celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. Congratulations!

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson were going camping. They pitched their tent under the stars and went to sleep.
Sometime in the middle of the night Holmes woke Watson up and said: "Watson, look up at the stars, and tell me what you see."
Watson replied: "I see millions and millions of stars."
Holmes said: "And what do you deduce from that?"
Watson replied: "Well, if there are millions of stars, and if even a few of those have planets, it’s quite likely there are some planets like earth out there. And if there are a few planets like earth out there, there might also be life."
And Holmes said: "Watson, you idiot, it means that somebody stole our tent."
